    Rough Shaping

In perfect symbiosis with traditional artistic sculpture, Paolo Costa has acquired a new generation robot for rough stone shaping.

The machine is able to speed up the production process of commissioned orders in certain cases and appreciably cut production costs, whereas traditional methods (solid wood work, shaping statues, producing large-scale replicas of sculptures, etc) would take much longer. This is particularly interesting and advantageous for artists who, from a single preliminary design, reproduce their work in various different materials, including stone.

Using this machinery also allows sculptors to focus their creative craftsmanship and manual skills on the artistic side of their work.
